Get unstuck and get back to work.
Use these steps for the DigProof iPhone and iPad app. The in-app Help & account screen can also retry saved records, reset your password, and send a problem report with useful diagnostics.
Records waiting to sync?
Do not delete or reinstall DigProof while the app shows records waiting to sync. Reconnect first and use Help & account → Retry saved records. If a record remains blocked, report the problem before removing the app.
Account access
I cannot sign in or reset my passwordConfirm the login email, request one reset link, and use the newest email.
- Enter the personal or work email originally used to create the DigProof login.
- Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.
- Check spam or junk folders and use the newest reset email if more than one arrives.
- Return to DigProof and sign in with the new password.
- If the email never arrives or the account is locked, contact support@digproof.io and include the company name. Never send your password.
I need to join but do not have a company emailA company owner or office admin can give you a single-use employee code.
- Ask the company owner or office admin to generate a new employee code.
- On the DigProof sign-in screen, enter the code under New employee.
- Use any personal email you can access for your private login and password recovery.
- The personal login email is not added to the employer-facing employee roster.
- Codes expire after seven days and work once. If the code is expired or already used, the office must generate another one.
iPhone and iPad permissions
Allow camera and photo accessDigProof needs permission only when you choose or capture jobsite evidence.
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apps → DigProof. Turn on Camera. Open Photos and allow the photos you want to choose, or allow full access if that matches your company policy.
Return to DigProof and try the photo action again. DigProof does not open the camera or photo library until you choose a photo action.
Allow GPS and Precise LocationClock actions and required inspections need one accurate foreground GPS fix.
- Open Settings → Apps → DigProof → Location.
- Choose While Using the App and turn on Precise Location.
- If Location Services are off for the entire device, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and turn them on.
- Return to DigProof, stand where the sky is visible when practical, and retry.
DigProof requests a fresh location only while you perform a location-enabled action. It does not continuously track location in the background.
Photos and offline work
A photo will not save or uploadCheck permission, file size, connection, and the saved-record queue.
- Confirm Camera or Photos permission using the steps above.
- Use a JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF image no larger than 20 MB.
- If service is weak, let DigProof save the photo on the device instead of repeatedly selecting it.
- Open Help & account and check Saved on this device.
- Reconnect and tap Retry saved records.
Keep the app installed until every saved record is synced or DigProof support confirms it is safe to remove.
Records are waiting to syncDigProof keeps supported field records on the device when service drops.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi or cellular data.
- Open Help & account → Saved on this device.
- Tap Retry saved records and leave DigProof open briefly.
- Records sync in order because later records may depend on earlier photos or clock actions.
- If a record says blocked, use Report a problem before discarding it.
A plan is unavailable offlinePrivate plans must be saved on the device before service is lost.
While connected, open Plans and tap Save offline beside the exact revision. The private PDF stays tied to that DigProof account on that device until it is removed.
Jobsites and time clock
Clock-in is blocked or says I am outside the geofenceVerify the jobsite, device location settings, and the company’s site pin.
- Choose the correct active jobsite before clocking in.
- Confirm While Using the App and Precise Location are enabled.
- Wait for the device to obtain a fresh GPS fix and try again.
- Use an outside-geofence override only when the company allows it and the recorded explanation is accurate.
- If you are physically onsite but still outside the radius, ask the office to verify the jobsite pin and geofence.
I cannot see my company or jobsiteWorkspace and jobsite access are controlled by the customer organization.
Ask the company owner or office admin to confirm that your login is an active company member and that you have access to the jobsite. DigProof support cannot add a worker to a customer workspace without authorization from that company.
Support and account
Report a problem from the appSend the screen, network state, and pending-record count without sending a password.
- Open More → Help & account → Report a problem.
- Describe what happened, the steps that caused it, and what you expected.
- DigProof automatically attaches the app screen, device platform, network state, and number of unsynced records.
Passwords and exact GPS coordinates are not included in the automatic problem report. For account-access problems, email support@digproof.io.
Delete an individual DigProof accountAccount deletion is available inside the app without contacting support.
Open More → Help & account → Delete my account, type DELETE, and confirm. This permanently removes the individual sign-in, personal profile, and company access.
Deleting an individual login does not cancel the customer company’s enterprise service or erase company-owned audit records. Retained operational records replace the individual identity with “Deleted user.”
