Operating focus
HCSS
A heavy civil software suite spanning estimating, field operations, safety and equipment.
DigProof
Digital Site Services for self-performing heavy civil contractors: field execution connected to office control and the job record.
What stands out
HCSS
A broad, established heavy civil product set, including specialized estimating and equipment tools.
DigProof
Command connects truck dispatch, crew assignments, equipment, shop repairs, timekeeping and safety records in one heavy civil workflow. Field updates give the office a clearer picture of the day without piecing it together from separate tools. Essentials covers time, safety and field questions; new phone workflows are identified below with their release status.
How the approaches differ
HCSS
HCSS offers established heavy civil depth across specialized estimating, field, safety and equipment products.
DigProof
HCSS brings a mature heavy civil suite. DigProof Command brings dispatch, crew assignments, equipment, time and safety into a connected operating workflow, with a direct relationship to our team. Our advantage is connecting the daily work and responding quickly to contractor needs—not claiming HCSS’s full product depth today.

A deeper connection · Command
Jobsite accountability strengthens the whole operation.
Alongside time, safety, daily reports, equipment and office review, DigProof is building a clearer responsibility chain: crew and operators → site foreman → superintendent inspection → office sign-off. Production progress is not the same as accepted work.
Move the worker. Not the punch.
A timestamped jobsite check-in keeps the original shift open. It records the move without rewriting payroll punches or pretending a check-in is continuous location tracking.
Choose the machine on that job.
An operator can run Dozer 12 on one site and Excavator 2 on another. The picker follows site assignments; equipment does not move just because the operator does.
Keep the crew focused.
Laborers get the essentials. Operators get site targets and equipment actions. The foreman owns the daily report—not a pile of separate end-of-day reports from every worker.
Name who answers for the work.
Jobsite defaults prefill qualified foreman, superintendent and office reviewers. Publishing still checks eligibility and separate people; defaults do not bypass approval or rewrite published history.
Built, awaiting field rollout. The new check-in, equipment-selection and reviewer-prefill flow has passed isolated tests. It is not in a released phone update yet; signed-in end-to-end checks and transferred-site inspection verification remain before rollout. Ask us to walk through the current workflow and release status. This is recordkeeping and accountability—not a guarantee of safety, compliance or legal outcomes.
